Minister of Defense: Greater Obstacles Will Sharpen Cambodia's Courage

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of National Defense, Tea Banh stated that the geopolitical competition made the enemy forces make a series of plans to hinder Cambodia's growth, but that the obstacles they created made Cambodia even sharper and more united.

Speaking at the Celebration of the 23rd Anniversary of Prime minister Hun Sen's Win-Win policy on the morning of December 30, 2021 at the Victory Monument, Tea Banh said that the enemy has done everything to interfere Internal affairs such as raising human rights issues, military sanctions and weapons. He added that in the future, there will be many more stories that Cambodia has to face.

"Continuing to raise the issue of human rights, democracy, to military sanctions, weapons sanctions, as well as a series of other issues that have arisen as a series of obstacles to the development of Cambodia," he said. At the same time, we see more and more clearly that we are facing more and more obstacles, our courage is sharpening and there is no force to break the barrier to prevent the evolution and progress of the Cambodian people under the leadership of Samdech Techo Prime Minister."

The statement by the Minister of National Defense is just one day from the announcement of the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen to strengthen the armed forces and the civil administration to prevent the color revolution and declare the armed forces and all civil administrations be ready to obey the orders of the Prime Minister to prevent any attempt to overthrow the current legitimate government.

"If they absolutely want to overthrow us, we must destroy them," he said. "We have no choice."

It has been 23 years since Cambodia achieved national unity, independence, an end to the war, a united nation after more than 500 years of separation. However, the unity and independence of Cambodia, some countries still try to pull into their political geography through other accusations and sanctions that we already seen.
